NEW! Unusual perennial ornamental and healing plant from the Middle East, grows to 1 m in height, forms a clump of tall stalks with small, elongated leaves. Throughout the summer, blooms profusely (showy, light-violet inflorescences). Leaves are harvested after blossoms, dried and used for making herbal tea. Particularly helpful in the treatment of diabetes (gently lowers sugar level in blood), it also has antipyretic effects. Sown in the spring. Likes fertile soil and sun.
