Chinese Cabbage White.
(Brassica chinensis "Pak Choi White F1")
This cabbage is a fast-growing aftercrop vegetable. Has large clump of leaves with broad, fleshy, brittle and succulent white stems, which are eaten raw as an addition to salads or cooked (like cabbage). Pak Choi has not the typical taste and smell of cabbage, is much more delicate. Sown in the ground from mid-July to early September. Sunny place and fertile, moist soil.
