Edible Giant Orach.
(Atriplex hortensis)
Annual bushy plant. Native to the U.S. and Canada, grows up to 2.5 ms in height. Has very large (up to 20 cm in diameter), light green fleshy leaves. They have a delicate flavour, can be picked gradually and cooked like spinach.
Likes sunny, sheltered places and any average type of soil. Sown in the spring in the ground.
