Pčre David's Maple.
(Acer grosseri)
Ornamental small tree native to China. Grows up to 5 ms in height, has a broad crown. Its bark is exceptionally decorative throughout the year: on the dark-green background is white dense pattern resembling the snake's skin. This unique decorative effect increases with age. Leaves are not similar to the leaves of popular maples: they are large (up to 20 cm long), light green, and oval. In autumn they turn yellow and orange. Ornamentals are also yellow-greenish flowers in spring and autumn and pink-brownish, winged fruits.
This tree likes partial shade or sun and fertile, moist soil. Frost-hardy, except the coldest climates. Rapid growth.
